After graduating from the University of Houston with a BBA in Accounting, JoLynn started her career as a CPA focusing in audit, systems analysis and consulting at an international CPA firm. With her 10 years of CPA experience she became a specialist in analyzing business processes in a variety of industries where she developed a love for Sage 100 accounting software. JoLynn formed ABS in 2002 to continue her passion for providing accounting and business management solutions for small to mid sized companies. JoLynn is not only passionate about her business, but for life. She is a private pilot and takes to the skies as often as possible. She also enjoys snowboarding, scuba diving, hiking and activities that expand her life’s experience.
Sage 100 Certified Consultant
JoAnn began working with Sage 100 in the mid 1990’s primarily as a customer service representative working closely with clients to provide instruction, guidance, and problem resolution. Her experience adds to the personalized attention that is the structure of ABS by assisting clients with their business systems and arranging a variety of specialty services and solutions. In addition to her work, JoAnn enjoys traveling with her husband, watching football (Go Pack Go!), reading, card games, attending live music events and spending time with friends and family.
Client Service Coordinator
Barbara began working on the administrative side of Sage 100 in 1998. Her experience includes Account/Client Service Manager, Project/Team Coordinator and Office Assistant. At ABS, Barbara actively assists clients as well as her colleagues with all types of administrative issues related to Sage 100. She is crucial for keeping our office running smoothly. In Barbara’s spare time, she likes to hang out with her dog, garden, cook, and play cards and dominos with friends. She is also active in her church, volunteering in the children’s ministry on Sunday mornings.
Cara has an extensive history working with organizations to expose the value of technology to solve key business issues affecting profitability and productivity. Whether working to solve complex challenges or simply identifying improvements that help business to run smoother, Cara has gained the trust of numerous organizations to identify innovative methods for solving the compelling issues facing business owners. Cara’s has over 25 years of experience in the ERP mid-market space working with Sage, NetSuite, Deltek, Microsoft and Acumatica.
Acumatica ERP Consultant
Rena Jacobs joined ABS in January 2018 as a consultant and trainer on the Acumatica team. She has years of experience working with a variety of tax and accounting software products, assisting clients with implementations, upgrades, customization and issue resolutions. Rena enjoys the collaborative process of teaching clients new and better ways to leverage technology to become more productive and efficient. In her free time Rena enjoys taking her dogs to the dog park and riding her horses. Rena is passionate about traveling and her favorite activities include hiking, exploring local zoos and checking out local artists and anything outdoors. Rena has been to four countries and hopes that list continues to grow.
Mike joined ABS in 2019 with over 15 years of experience in the manufacturing/distribution sectors with 10 of those years being involved in mainstream ERP implementations. His ERP experience includes SAP and Acumatica. At ABS, Mike’s focus is working with both Sage 100 and Acumatica manufacturing and distribution clients. Mike moved to Houston from Utah with his wife and four young children. He is an avid outdoorsman enjoying archery, fishing and hunting.
